About HAMA Europe

The Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) is the pre-eminent organisation of professionals responsible for proactively increasing asset values on behalf of hotel owners worldwide.

Our mission is the enhancement of hospitality asset managers through education, advancement of the profession, and serving as the collective industry voice of hospitality ownership.

HAMA started in the United States in the 1990s as a small organization to represent owners’ interests and over the years has grown into a strong voice within the industry, gaining owners’ representation for the first time on revisions to the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and regularly addressing key issues impacting hotel values.

Today HAMA provides global resources to meet the needs of hospitality owners worldwide with affiliated chapters in Europe, United States, Middle East & Africa, China, Asia-Pacific and Japan. Members are involved in asset management, acquisition, financing and disposition of hotels and resorts, and are directly responsible for making decisions concerning capital investments, renovations, asset repositioning, operational policies and franchise selections.

Our strong global network of hospitality professionals provides members with unparalleled access to key industry leaders and decision-makers. HAMA promotes ethical standards of conduct and mutual respect among its members and those in the hospitality industry.
