HAMA started in the United States in the 1990s as a small organization to represent owners\u2019 interests and over the years has grown into a strong voice within the industry, gaining owners\u2019 representation for the first time on revisions to the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and regularly addressing key issues impacting hotel values.<\/p>\n

Today HAMA provides global resources to meet the needs of hospitality owners worldwide with affiliated chapters in Europe, United States, Middle East & Africa, China, Asia-Pacific and Japan. Members are involved in asset management, acquisition, financing and disposition of hotels and resorts, and are directly responsible for making decisions concerning capital investments, renovations, asset repositioning, operational policies and franchise selections.<\/p>\n

HAMA Europe History<\/h2>\n

HAMA Europe was launched in 2014 to provide a voice for European hospitality owners. HAMA Europe is an international affiliate of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) which was founded in the United States overs twenty years ago and currently has affiliates in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, China and Japan.<\/p>\n
